Accredited Marine Surveyor / Inspector
Servicing Vancouver Island South and the Gulf Islands
If you are purchasing, insuring, refitting or operating a vessel, having an accredited Marine Survey and comprehensive report on the vessel has many benefits, including ensuring your safety afloat. A vessel is an investment to be cared for; costs can be reduced by knowing ahead of potential issues arising on the vessel that typically only a professional may site during a comprehensive inspection. Our inspections assessment focuses on the entire vessel, its structural integrity, propulsion system overview and all onboard systems. Our Survey Report gives you a comprehensive opinion and summary of the operational condition and limitations of your vessel. Our goal is to maintain your safety afloat and provide you and your insurer with the full Compliance of your vessel condition. Protecting your investment, qualifying your insurance coverage while possibly reducing costs of operation and maintenance requirements with a forward looking view of condition.
My 47 years’ experience in the marine field includes molded and custom ship building, refitting, re-powering, and all forms of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic repairs and evaluations. I have surveyed over 1,000 vessels and have piloted and logged over 110,000 nautical miles in Tidal Pacific waters, inland rivers and lakes throughout Canada and the USA up to to 40T.
My experience enables me to offer you a complete perspective regards your vessel to assist your decision making and insuring your investment. Our reports are thorough, detailed and comprehensive.
